What I have PROBABLY achieved in year 2010:

1. Involved in some club and society events and activities

2. Being the vice secretary for MASCA VIC and Assistant Publicty Director for MoMU

3. Took a Music subject as my breadth subject and I must say I enjoyed the playing part! also made some acquaintances from other faculties.

4. Visited the Oriental Las Vegas aka Macao and metropolitan Hong Kong

5. Went back Malaysia TWICE a year! oh well I heard of friend who went back 4 times a year :S

6. Bought a DSLR camere, picking up on photography and good thing about my toy- there is video recording function!

7. People come and go in your life. Learned to treasure friends.

8. Joined gym and some fitness classes, lost some weight and built some muscles (invisible still =p)

What I am hoping to achieve in 2011:

1. learn more photography skills and must know my camera very well!

2. be a good leader?

3. make my pending Korea and Taiwan trips successful and fun!

4. Visit Gold Coast, Tasmania/New Zealand and some places in Victoria.

5. better time management

6. Sleep early and wake up early

7. eat healthily and more exercise!

8. Read books (ordered Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics, borrowing Rich daddy and poor daddy from room mate)

9. Fluent in AutoCAD, 3D Max and Maya.

10. Visit architecture sites on regular basis to gain ideas and develop deeper interest.

Hustle bustle no more

The city wasn't as crowded as it used to be today.

Less cacasians and more asians with shops generally closed and decoration lights were off, not even the dim spot light that normally casts on the factory chimney in Melbourne Central .

Spent the morning and afternoon on internet, aimlessly clicking links and surfing the same sites again and again. Virtual world seems so dead that I hardly see updates from friends during holiday. Was it just me being so jobless? I like to be alone sometimes (definitely not being lonely) but I wouldn't have thought the most time I have for my own is Christmas day 2010. oh welll....

Chatted with a friend about political and economic stability, results, work, foreseeable future, possibilities and uncertainties that may or may not happen. No matter what is lay on the next moment, we just have to brace ourselves to face it regardless of what. Let bygones be bygones, whether they were glories or miseries.

Year of 2010, I have learnt a lot about life and still learning about it. Life is tough but I'm gonna live it in easier ways. Of so much self evaluations and self reflections, I know I need to hold firmly to a stand which might be easier said than done. Sometimes when it strikes out of sudden, I just lose my grasp about it and gone wrenched. It is deplorable abomination that I wish it was never existed.

I love the way they decorated the wall with recipes.

颓废的生活又回来了，这只是第一个礼拜。

假期的计划还没正式的模拟出来。

重点在于改进自己，只我增值。

首先要熟练ａｕｔｏｃａｄ，因为ＡＤＳ３肯定有用到。

然后学些新的ｐｈｏｔｏｓｈｏｐ　ｓｋｉｌｌｓ.网上和图书馆是最好的资源。
Ｐｈｏｔｏｇｒａｏｈｙ已经成为我的另一个嗜好。

决定了读夏日课（应该是错的翻译）　哈哈！

因为我不想对生活放弃，就乘我还有些热情的时候，让那股热情继续。

让忙碌填满一切。读书，MOMU, MASCA,OSA 和工作，我很满意。

大学的Swot Vac 开始了，我还在做assignments.
当人家考试了，我才Swot Vac。
而且还要12天那种，当然有点xian啦！

心血来潮想自己煮一煮，就弄了balancan seafood fried bihun 和 curry fried bihun。
想当年第一次炒面，就想起乱七八糟的情况和炒到烂的面。哈哈！
比起那时我现在可以很神气的跟妈我会炒面，炒米粉和炒饭了！

Stayed up till wee hours to complete a 25% work assignment for Construction analysis. Had lunch at SAKE Bistro.

Went MUOSS meeting for orientation publicity and I was overwhelmed by the task of taking charge of orientation publicity with another 3 OSAs. Basically the publicity directors and officers won't be around that time so they passing those task to us.

Bought coffee and went south Lawn to enjoy the sunshine and hanging out with friends!!

I LOVE my uni life man!

Lastly MOMU meeting at Chai cafe. brief meeting about what needs to get done in Bolehland and what needs to bring back here :)

Fridays were never this spontaneous and crazy before except the ball night and the tipsy clubbing night =D . Amid the intensive assignment period, I proposed a night trip to Box Hill to try out Monga Dessert Lounge which offers authentic Hongkie desserts after reading some good reviews on web and this stirred up Jacey's enthusiasm towards dessert.

The trip embarked on just a few clicks by getting the train schedule and location of the restaurant without deliberate consideration and we packed up labtops & books then marched to tram stop. The restaurant never failed to amaze me with the very Hongkie style interior decoration which brought back my the precious moments I have spent with my high school besties in Hong Kong last July!

Yooo......lol...such a lame opening...
life has been busy recently with social outings, assignments, club stuff etc etc....
I have a sudden urge of running for MASCA post when my friend mentioned about the AGM which was held yesterday at Malaysian Hall. I thought of it again and again the nights before the AGM and decided to send in my nomination for vice secretary.

Ever wonder why this post and not any others? well, a friend of mine aka Ze Ying is the outgoing VS and I thought her responsiblities as a VS were quite light as in only writing newsletter, minutes and report? haha...on top of that other posts seem to require a lot of efforts and commitements which I don't think I could accomplish.

Thank goodness that my votes were slightly more than the other contestant....phewwwwww......my greatest gratitude to those who voted for me especially Zy, Drew, CK, Jamie, Jasmine, Gajan, Chin, Syafiq, Zia and etc etc....

Juggling between studies and commitments such as OSA (Overseas student ambassador of Melbourne Uni), MoMU and MASCA is definitely gonna put a great challenge on myself. I wish I won't compromise any of them and do the best I can! that's why im still uni at this ungodly hour (2.30am), trying to come out with a concept for my client's house, drawing the plan and section......haha....aging process is speeded up by 200%. GOSHHHHHHHH. I skipped last week's studio because of sickness but I went clubbing at that night. What an irony...

Apart from that, I must say tarik-ing teh tarik is actually a fun stuff to try!! I did a few hours shift for my club MoMU during the Festival of Nations. It doesn't require some extensive skills or something, you just have to pull it high and make sure the teh doesn't fall out of the cup. haha!

FOA aka foundation of architecture is actually an interesting subject to study apparently because of the various kind of histories from around the world. I enjoyed thoroughly the whole semester ignoring the fact that spending few night for reading books from library for essay.

But......when it comes to memorizing the details and facts, you would rather do mathematics. Freaking details of 60 building to remember, not to mention you need to remember the date as well. How sien......I hope my motivation and endurance could last me till 22nd June. After 12.30pm of 22nd, I SWEAR I won't touch any academic realted stuff! Jiayo!

哗！！！！！Window 7 真的太太好料了！！！！

好料到我连华文的input也弄到半死 sipehhhh kanasaiii....还是lim pek懒得找？哈哈！

25号当天，七早八早我们一家人就醒来，准备送我到槟城机场。

那晚我感觉得到我家人有点舍不得，和哥哥弟弟当晚谈天到一点才睡（隔天四点就醒噢！）

感谢开车的哥哥和爸爸：）

抵达廉价机场后就和朋友到Starbucks边等边吃早餐。大概有五个小时的等待才到起飞时间！

哗！真的显到到到...............................

然后飞机一路都很安全，搭廉价航空好像很不安全hor...其实并不是，唯一的缺点就是座位太直了！

到达墨尔本后在机场待到早上！回到家就到下去睡了！

回来大概有一个星期了，可是感觉好像五百万个小时过了！可能有点闲空，开始想家了:(

Uni的新学期看起来难点了，功课也多些了。加把劲吧！

新年的脚步越来越近了！！ OH NO!!　小弟这个２５号要飞回澳洲了．．．

sad sad....一般上新年的前轴都会比新年来的热闹的。

走进ＴＥＳＣＯ就听到到处播来新年歌，今年办年货的别的爽！

因为价钱都是拿来除三！！哈哈！！(虽然不是我付钱啦 =p )　

今年家里的年糕大多都是买的，省下很多麻烦，但也好像少了点气氛。

在婆婆还没去世前，妈妈都是自己做Kuih Kapit, 而我们就帮忙折。

过年气氛达100%!!

今年的鸡蛋卷妈妈订了一大桶，可以分成五十万桶送人．

还complain说本来讲好是RM43，但是去拿货时变RM44.

Yiao, 听了pengsan 掉！而且吃完了还他那个桶可以拿回RM8的.

哈哈！

自从圣诞节过后我就很有农历新年的mood了！

my Astro的新年个不停的在耳边绕，那时我是非常非常的期待一月十九日的到来哦！

19好那天七早八早就去了机场，我真的是太兴奋了！哈哈！

那八个小时的路程可说是充满了期待！还有就是疲累，因为我前两夜都没睡。

原以为要把自己弄累点，然后在飞机上睡够够！

Yiao!(Chiew Yee,2010) 晕倒！飞机的座位是九十度的！！比铁柱还来得直！

我就这么时睡时醒才熬过了八小时。Airasia的普通昌就是酱的，一分钱一分获嘛。

一下飞机的感觉就是：“我闻到MSIA的味道了！”

因为马俩西亚的空气潮湿，有那种无法形容的味道，是温馨的 :)

飞机两趟都被延误，还到我哥在槟城飞机场等了一小时多。

回到了家,爸妈都沉睡了。隔天，他们都被我的归来吓到。嘻嘻！

还好有哥配合，计划成功了！早餐吃了我最爱的点心，在SP大优镔.

这里有好吃的蛋卡，但其他的还是EUPE好吃.

Yoy! (好无聊的开场白-_-) 哈哈！

回顾零九年，让我叹息白驹过隙。

想当初拿到奖学金出国留学开始，一路走到现在。

这路程说短不短，说长不长，但却学了不少人生道理。

在万达国际学院那里，学到了不可以轻易相信别人和人不为己天诛地灭的道理。

听起来还蛮恐怖哦！但是，旁观者总比当事人清楚的多。

虽然我有牵涉了那么一点点，但那不重要。

来到了墨大，就只有我一个男生从万达国际学院来。

人生地不熟，适应期间还好。

只是还没来之前找地方住真的是处处碰订。

还好有绍栋这位贵人相助。

一个人的潇洒和自由其实还不错．

交了很多新朋友，有些则是现在的ｇａｎｇ咯．．．

期望我会有个不错的２０１０！

Chritsmas and Boxing day!

Christmas day is a very special day to Christians as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. As for non-christians X'mas simply means more parties and celebration just merely for fun. I was anticipating an uber happening Christmas in Melbourne as I am staying over for this summer until January. The week before Christmas everybody was busy with preparation and streets were teeming shoppers! I spent my Christmas eve on a good sleep as I had outing with friends on the next day

Woken up by the nice birds chirping in the morning, I went to St.Paul Cathedral to witness the prayer session and the carol after preparation and breakky. It was the very first time I went to church early morning and not to mention I joined the prayer. It ended with communion which is a thanks giving ceremony by having a piece of bread dipped in wine. I managed to catch up with Joshua, Chuah and Choi Kuan for lunch at Dumpling Plus. Then Ck and me went to Box Hill just to check out some nice chinese restaurants and shops there. To my surprise it all closed on that day, however, we still managed to check out a grocery store which has a lot of asian food. I was like 'WAh! they got sell this and that!' No wonder CK said the asian groceries in city are so 'empty'. haha.... Dinner was settled in Chinatown as well because all Italian restaurants on Lygon were closed.

What a piece of creative work!

Streets were so empty and most shops closed on Christmas day as most people would spend their time at home with their lovely family. Boxing day was a big contradiction to Christmas because this is basically a start of mega sales. People came from all over places to shop in the city for massive discounts and good bargains. I was tempted to get a DSLR camera as I could probably save around $200 if I bought it now but the notion of getting it was stopped by my saving aim. T.T

Working has been tiring especially in Asian restaurant!

You know what? Those fucking cibai CBar people are so rude and to the lowest standard I have ever met! They seldom treat customers with respect and most of them speak little english, not to mention they are mostly illegal workers! I have decided to leave that hell which tortured me mentally and physically for 5 weeks!

HELL NO TOLERANCE!

I kept convincing myself to stay on the 3rd week coz I thought they would increase my salary, mana tau lanciao dia! people gt increase after 3rd week I still get the same rate on the 4th week! It's really labour slave according to my landlord Earnie. Now I wanna enjoy my holiday by reading novels and surfing the net. Even there is still a month to go before I go back home! How I miss my lovely home!

Chill chill..... let me clear all the movies and novels first. then start preparing for my coming semester. this round really must score really well to secure a place in master.

显咯。。。今天本来要去一个面试的！

结果连那个地方都找不到，好糟哦....

本人还是第一次去Sunshine这个suburb。街道都很凌乱，搞到我找了那么久！

那印度佬不知道路就不要乱指！妈的害我东跑西跑.

本来十一点十分的面试，找了二十分钟后已经迟了.最后宣告放弃回家.

算了这叫没缘嘛（其实是给自己没做功课找理由！）

又一个机会酱白白溜走！

下次要早点去然后带地图！

我不要呆在这个一小时才八块有做到半死的店啊！！！！

给我找到大概十二/十三块得我就心满意足了！！

这个学期还好早考完, 要不然就得被折磨得更久.

话说回来,上回去佛堂那个师傅说:"读书是让生活更有趣"

听起来含义蛮深的, 但是简单点来说就是自我安慰咯....

考完试后,我很semangat的有一大堆的计划.

主因是不想让时间白白流走...

过隙白驹，就这样快要完成大学一年级了...

好了，要读书了！

The Verdant Greenery Spring 09

As trees and flowers are blooming again in this spring, the weather doesn't really change to what it was supposed to be. There was one day when the temperature rose to freaking 29 degree Celsius and I first thought Spring should be that hot. However, as the dust storm hit Sydney, bush fire occurred at Queensland and earthquake (just small tremour) in Victoria, the weather became unusually cold and I felt as if winter was back again!! A friend in my lifegroup told me this is the worst year ever he has experienced.

okkkeeeeyyyy, let's review what I have done for this lovely Spring Break! Holidays kicked off on the 18th of September and I planned heaps of activities. First, visited the lovely and beautiful tulip farm on the first Saturday of the break.

And it was my big day on 22nd September. we headed to Puffing Billy as this place grabbed our attention while we were searching for holiday spot in Victoria.

Went to Royal Melbourne Show with mt lifegroup members and for the first time I witnessed how the fur of alcapa is being shaved out!

澳洲人是很高productivity的人，

所以他们相信只要你够专著的作东西，很短时间内就可以完成。

这跟这里的假期的长短也有关系。不要看我们学生一年又是个月的假期。

其实在上课学习的那短短4个月（一个学期）内，真的要有很高productivity.

像我现在可以在这里写东西，只有两个可能性。

１．我是很高productivity的。

２．我是常不做功课的。

哈哈！你说我是哪一类呢？

话说回来，这个星期两样功课同一天要交。还真的是很恐怖的忙！

最后只好选择性的广课，不过我有重听ｌｅｃｔｕｒｅ．

反而我觉得听ｌｅｃｔｏｐｉａ更可以了解呢！　

下个星期也是两样功课一起交, 希望可以做的更好吧！

假期的时候呢，就先没事做希望早开学。

现在呢，忙到不可开交的时候就希望Spring Break 快点到。

而且亏我贪多一天的周末就把本来星期五早上的tutorial换到星期四。

现在残了啦！两个tutorial同一天，而且还常常要做presentation的。

星期三晚上就是不眠之夜了...

话说这星期Designing Environments 的presentation, 整体表现还好啦。

至少老外听得懂我在讲解的是什么...尴尬的事就是我把Section drawing调大然后印在A3纸上。

结果，tutor捧给我一把尺然后要我在纸上画出1：50的 scale.

糟糕的是我放大的那个Section drawing是不对的scale...

虽然tutor说我的画提供了很多details and GREAT, 但就是那个差错毁了我的心情 T.T

希望接下来的assignments都不要出错....

The Sexy Winter Break (Part 2) - Great Ocean Road

Here comes the second part of my winter holiday in Victoria! While we were traveling from Melbourne city to Great Ocean Road, the driver actually made a lot of commentary which I found quite informative but dull. An interesting fact that he told is the meaning of "Geelong"! The word "Geelong" means do not play football in aborigines language and this is where the domestic airport of Victoria is.

The main highlight of the trip to Great Ocean road is definitely the twelve apostles. According to the driver/tour guide, The Twelve Apostles of Great Ocean Road is one of the top 20 tourist attraction in the world! Nonetheless, the windy and rainy weather on that day ruined our moods. It would be much enjoyable with sunny weather. Besides, there are 11,ooo of corners to be encountered on the way to the twelve apostles from Great Ocean Road and indeed the journey somehow made me felt dizzy! A friend of us actually vomited N times and she looked so pale.

Glorious at dusk and dawn the Twelve Apostles giant rock stacks are a central feature of the spectacular Port Campbell National Park. The forces of nature gradually eroded the softer limestone, forming caves in the cliffs which became arches and when they collapsed, rock islands as high as 45 metres were left isolated from the shore.

Well, I know this post is kind of late but who cares to blog when you have other better activities better to do than blogging? Haha! Winter break kicked off at the moment I stepped out from the exam hall. The last paper was the toughest one with lots of unpredicted questions. I was hoping to get a H1 for Constructing Environments but I managed to obtain a H2 division B only....sigh....

Let's start with the visit of friends from Sydney and Queensland first. Becoming a tour guide was the best way to kill the spare time, we excitedly visited most of the main attractions in Victoria for instance Shrine of Remembrance, Royal Arcades, Block Arcades...just to name a few.

There are few words which can describe the feeling and olde-style charm captured in the Royal Arcade. Since 1869, the arcade has acted as a hub between Melbourne's, Bourke St Mall, Little Collins Street and Elizabeth Street; The Royal Arcade houses some of the most well-known and beautiful shops in Melbourne.

I found something which is really creative and intersting- candies with writing and symbol of fruits! The symbol of the fruit indicates the flavour, ranging from strawberry to apple but no durian. lol...

它是我的副修科啦....选这一科原因是不想白白浪费以前读了一年半的Economics.

二来比较实际，履历表看起来好像有很广的知识，国外找工作比较容易吗...

考试还挺有难度的，要不然就不会是鼎鼎有名的墨大了。

不过小弟都有把所有问题回答，只不过有些因为时间不足而草草了事。

考试时间是两个小时，第一个小时室温还蛮舒服的。

过后就惨咯！手几乎冻结似的，连写答案都辛苦。

考场是 Royal Exhibition Building，建筑物非常壮观！

现在已经步入冬天，每日最低气温为5度，最高为14-16度。

而且会逐渐下降呢。

大多是那些韩国台湾的快熟拉面。

然后到Max Brenner ，

喝Chocholate Crunchy Waffle Balls 和吃 Belgium Waffle.

寒冷的气候，

手里握着热腾腾的巧克力，

嘴里嚼着香脆的Belgium Waffle，

简直就是人间享受！

感觉好象来墨儿本不久而已, 就这样第一个学期就完了!

上了三个月的大学, 完全体验那种无拘无束的生活.

虽然有时间表, 但是上lectures完完全全很有时间弹性。

比如说，如果不想去两点的课，可以换四点的。

只可惜不是每一科都可以这么做，因为有些科目的学生不多。

由于住在大学对面，每次都很懒得早起床。

结果呢。。。不是迟到就是不到，渐渐的就养成了习惯。

Week 8 or 9开始就常常旷课了！

糟糕，感觉对不起自己耶...

学费每年要澳币30k左右，虽然不是我还啦，但这么做很不对哦。

可是依我个人的看法，与其去lecture昏昏欲睡不如自己温习好了。

上网重听lecture好像明白更多，因为在房里没干扰。

下课星期还有一份功课要交，然后就得准备考试了。

3 more weeks to go and this semester is gonna finsh in a flash of eyes...I'm running out of enthusiasm and energy as the workloads keep increasing. That's basically the life of a university student. The Virtual Environments Module 3 will be due next Monday and I vowed to do the best of mine this time and so I spent the whole night of yesterday on it. Sadly, my work was literally rejected by my tutor who is a professional architect. How pathetic....was planning to go IKEA with Gajan to get some stuff tomorrow and of coz bottomless nicely brewed coffee is what makes the trip to IKEA worthy. Probably tomorrow will be intensive assignment day again due to the re-do thingy.

Well, Winter holiday is gonna be what most students longed for! My exam is scheduled to finish on the 23 June, 3 days earlier than the proposed day. I was wondering of a Sydney trip and visit some places around Melbourne like Great Ocean Road and Philips Island. However, budget is my main concern here. Honourly, I'm gonna be hosting my KBU's friends who will be paying a visit to Mebourne. Unlike the last Easter holiday when Perng came, we will have ample of time this round....no worries! Be prepared for an intriguing, exciting and wonderful Melbourne trip dudes!

Well, it's Thursday again. I tried to wake up at 9am today but to no avail...when I was struggling to open my eyes...WTF!!! It was 10.30am!! as usual, late for lecturer again. So I made no effort of rushing to the lecturer and skipped it instead. What a lazy bum... I did attend the following lecturers ok...

As an international student, I just realized how bad my english level is compared to the native speaker so I enrolled into those short courses by Academic Skill Unit. Today's lesson was about complex sentences which I learnt about constructing long and good sentences. To my surprise, the number of students who actually turned out to the lecturer was less than 10. Yea...you can count by your fingers! The list consisted of around 40 students. By the way, the lecturer was useful and awesome indeed.

I have adopted new policy in preparing food for myself as I will cook a bunch in one short on Sunday and keep the food which is able to last for at least 3 days in the fridge. Whenever I feel like eating I will just heat it up. So what's the food for this week?

I have been eating this from Moday till this afternoon's lunch and I don't have to eat it tonight!! haha...going out later to Grill's for burger. whahaha....

Easter Break 已经结束一个星期了！
基本上除了忙于Assignment外，就是带朋友走走墨尔本。
应为有 “鹏”自远方来，当然不亦乐乎啦！哈哈！
其实也只是个借口要出去。在外吃的次数也变多，管它啦！反正放假嘛 XD
最开心就是可以去Docklands，应为听闻那里是新城市。
建筑物都很美，地方很适于居住。
很多apartment是对海的， sipek 爽！

我的老板今天进了薪水，三个月的生活费，书费和杂费。
加家起来有四千多...AUD不是RM。
可是还了租，扣掉伙食费，电话费和网费就剩不多了。

而且不懂怎么那么malang, 借了个手推车却不见了！！！
那是应为朋友的邻居丢个还能用的冰箱在门外，我那位朋友觉得很浪费。
如果我们把它拿了，那明年如果找到加班就不必买冰箱！
结果我借了个手推车，把冰箱搬到朋友家屋里时却忘了手推车！
出来时不见了！！！他妈的！！
隔天早上收到一封电邮说那手推车要好几百块！
如果拜一没找到就得赔钱！
好咯，就当买下那冰箱的价钱。
打从我来到着，就白白烧掉整九百澳币！我可以买张机票回家了啦！！

好了不讲伤心事，淡淡我的饮食习惯。
午餐通常吃泡面，三文治和sushi.
谁叫我楼下有间sushi店，走过时顶不住就跑去买来吃。
下次不可以了！省下来会马来西亚吃。便宜2.6倍！
晚餐通常都会自己煮，所以年未时回家可以煮给家人尝尝!

This would probably not a good thing as far as health is the main concern!! I'm taking it at regular basis nowadays and its gonna increase the sugar level in my body! I would like to give you a serious warning before you decided to drag your mouse down. As I afraid you will blame me in the future....XD

Ever since I came to Melbourne, I was introduced to the greatest TEMPTATION in the world by God-knows-who. Seriously I feel as if I was on the heaven when having the first sip. It flowed smoothly through my throat and and slowly I closed my eyes to indulge in the happiness!

sigh...until now can't really confirm when is my flight...

The JPA officer replied my email stated my flight is scheduled on 14 February, which is Valentine Day. All the details supposed to be informed by yesterday according to her email...

BUT I've been waiting for the call since 6.30AM yesterday and yet no incoming call from JPA....
tried to call them just now again and again but sadly nobody answer my phone... maybe lunch time la..

Now accommodation problem arises again, UniLodge or private shared house???
If I pick Unilodge I have to start paying from 23 Jan and I don't have to worry for accommodation anymore...

However, after reading a website I have changed my mind not to move in Unilodge. The administrators of Unilodge claimed that the website is a baseless attempt to stirring up troubles. If half things from the website was true why would they still be recommended by Melbourne University??

Another option that I have is to find someone replace me and I will go house hunting with my ex-classmates... so I won't incur any lost by not being able to refund the deposit.What you think?

Hurray!!! Finally the university result has out and I ended up at The UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE! I will embark on Bachelor of Environment starting from next month for 3 years and another 2 years (conditional) to complete master.

Talking about this uni, the Times higher education ranked it as 27th in year 2007. Its my honour for being accepted and offered a place in the university. I vow to myself I must study hard and smart to achieve good grades for my degree.

You know what, people always say I'm lucky to get UniMelb. here's the proof:

When Chia Chean and me went to IDP on 14 January, we had a talk with Carmen and she considered us of getting special attention from her. Each of us is responsible by our councellors respectively but we went for Carmen instead.hehe...following is part of the conversation....

Carmen: How did you do in your TER?
Ho : **.*( private and confidential....hehe)
Carmen: You are so lucky for being offered a place in UniMelb!! It's tough to get a place you know...

Owh....here comes the most difficult part - accommodation. At this late stage, we can hardly find a affordable and livable accommodation in Melbourne (and other part of Aussie too). WTF! ask me pay $246 every week for a master room in Arrows on Swans

$246per week = $1054.28 per month!!!!
$1200-1054.28= $145.71
( $145.71 for food.... eat bread everyday also not enough la.... LOL!)

so, go for temporary accommodation first.

15 January I went to the pre-departure briefing by JPA at Putrajaya. It was freaking long man.... we departed from KBU at 8am and back at 7pm. The briefing was expected to end at 2pm but due to some unforseen circumstances , they kept us waiting for 4 more hours. At the end, we still haven't got our TC. It really drove me nuts!!
